High-Resolution Circularity of Space: A Design Framework for Circular Neighbourhood Development

Project description
This research investigates how circularity can be understood and supported through high-resolution spatial analysis at the neighbourhood scale, with a focus on residential laneways in Melbourne. Through place-specific spatial investigation and design experimentation, it seeks to develop a design framework and toolkits for circular neighbourhood development.

Researcher biography
Zhejun Wang is a PhD student at The University of Queensland with a background in architecture (B.Arch, M.Arch) and urban design (M.Res). Her research focuses on the spatial dimensions of circular neighbourhood development and high-resolution approaches to understanding and reconfiguring everyday urban environments.
