Vienna has been rated one of the most liveable cities in the world for many years.
Much of this recognition is owed to the fact that living is affordable and high-quality subsidized housing is available to 70% of the population.
The University of Queensland is proud to partner with Advantage Austria and visiting senior Austrian experts, who will share how their housing model works and how their experiences and capabilities can be adopted to address the shortage of affordable housing in Australia. Seven leading Austrian companies will present their insights and experience in modern construction techniques and strategies to enhance affordable housing availability.
The Summit will focus on two key subjects in two parts:
Part 1: Affordable Housing
Part 2: Modern Methods of Construction
Hear from keynote guest speakers representing:
- The City of Vienna’s municipal housing provider, managing over 220,000 apartments
- The Austrian Association of Limited-Profit Housing Providers
- Queensland policy makers and other stakeholders in housing
- Queensland industry experts in MMC
