Computer Lab Availability

The Faculty of Engineering, Architecture and Information Technology (EAIT) manage over 700 computers available exclusively to students in the Faculty, including ADP students.

Printing

There are several ways to print to the plotters –

• Use one of the EAIT Student PCs in the Zelman Cowen plotter room (51-328)
• Log into Library printing account and submit a PDF document to the print queue

Mapping a plotter or laser printer to a computer

Plotter: Click on the Windows icon and type
\\print.labs.eait.uq.edu.au\djzc328

Laser (Black and White) Click on the Windows icon and type
\\print.labs.eait.uq.edu.au\lpzc328

Laser (Colour) Click on the Windows icon and type
\\print.labs.eait.uq.edu.au\cpzc328

Purchasing Extra Print Credit

Students need to purchase print credit in order to print to the School printers. Print credit can be purchased online with a credit or visa debit card.

1. Login to your Library printing account
2. Enter your student username and password
3. Select 'Add Credit' from the menu on the left-hand side
4. Select the amount of print quota you would like to purchase, then click 'continue' and follow the prompts to purchase the credit
   Note: you will need to have separately authenticated to access the internet before this will work - visit http://login.uq.edu.au/ first to check if you are unsure.
5. Your new print credit is available for immediate use
