Lorenzo Ciccarelli

Lorenzo Ciccarelli is a Research Fellow in History of Architecture at the University of Florence and member of the Scientific Committee of the Renzo Piano Foundation. He studied Building Engineering at the Università Politecnica delle Marche and obtained a Ph.D. in History of Architecture at the Università di Roma “Tor Vergata”. He is author of Renzo Piano Before Renzo Piano. Masters and Beginnings (Quodlibet, 2017), De Beaubourg à Pompidou. Les architects 1968-1971 (Éditions B2, 2017) and other books and papers about the Italian architecture of the twentieth century and its cultural dissemination in Europe and North-America.
