Navigating Interdisciplinary Design Careers: Job Searching and Professional Identity

What: This is the first workshop for our employability series specifically tailored to design students.

In this workshop with the EAIT employability team and Dr Charlotte Kessler, we will discuss ways in which students can get started with understanding the landscape of interdisciplinary design jobs.
We’ll talk about job search strategies, positioning yourself in the market and developing a professional identity, finding opportunities, refining online presence, building professional relationships, and more.
This workshop is also an opportunity to come and discuss your needs with the employability team as we start to work on and employability strategy to meet the specific needs of design students.

All UQ Design Students Welcome. This is an in-person only workshop, registrations are essential.
