CROP’15 exhibition
The exhibition was coordinated by the School of Architecture’s Mr Douglas Neale and Dr Pedro Guedes, alongside the Masters graduating cohort, who produced a publication to showcase the work.
The University of Queensland’s School of Architecture’s annual end of year exhibition for 2015 officially opened on Friday 4 December. Hosted at the State Library of Queensland’s ‘The Edge’, CROP’15 was an incredibly exciting and thought provoking exhibition of both Master of Architecture and Bachelor of Architecture student work.
Projects from our newly re-structured Masters studio program were on display, including design topics such as Architecture and Commerce; Institutions and Ideology; Adaptive Capacities; Dwelling and Density; Landscapes and Architecture; and Utopian Urbanism. These studios encompass ambitious briefs, challenging students to confront issues associated with the city, high rise living and commercial spaces, landscapes as generators of form, and heritage re-use.
