Handover 2019

This student-led showcase celebrates two significant milestones in a life in architecture. The 2019 Bachelor and Master cohorts have worked together to develop and curate this hand-over – presenting their work to the profession and announcing future student cohorts. This celebratory exhibition demonstrates the commitment of our students and academics to the discipline and practice of architecture and the depth of our engagement with the future of the profession.

The students, staff, alumni, practitioners and sponsors involved in this event are a community of practice. An engaged and passionate network of friends and supporters is a powerful force for the advancement of the School and we thank you for your partnership in our progress. Our congratulations to the 2019 graduating cohorts.

Why Handover?

The exhibition title of Hand Over references industry vernacular for when a completed building is officially handed to its owners by the architects. Similarly, the Hand Over exhibition symbolises the University ‘handing over’ the graduating cohort to the industry, celebrating the students as they embark on the next stage of their careers in architecture.
