Museum of the Fake exhibition
You are invited to the Museum of the Fake exhibition, which showcases the work of Master of Architecture students from Advanced Architectural Design: Institutions and Ideology (ARCH7002). The studio was taught by Dr Nicole Sully in collaboration with Mark Hiley and Douglas Neale.
The students were challenged to consider how architects engage with ideas of authenticity, authorship and originality in the age of fake news, alternative truths and artificial intelligence. The outcome was an art museum that houses, showcases, hides and facilitates research into works of fake, forged and copied art on one of six global sites.
You are invited to visit the insightful student works in the Zelman Cowan Exhibition Space until Friday 20 June 2025. Further information about the brief and sites is included in the exhibition.
